The Surbubs are an informally defined group of suburbs In Harare & Bulawayo including Borrowdale; Hillcrest ; Kings City ; Greendale etc. The suburbs are well known for high incomes, high house prices, private schools, private health care and proximity to lush gardens.

Public housing, or social housing, refers to subsidized or affordable housing provided in buildings that are usually owned and managed by the government for low SES residents. 

Currently, the Zimbabwean government is seeking to strike a deal with the Chinese government to provide public housing in Harare & Bulawayo.

Radical self-discipline is the philosophy that one should abandon the comforts of the modern world to become disciplined. This involves a strict exercise regime, waking up early every day, cold showers, absence from social media, a diet devoid of comfort food, a renunciation of self-care culture.

Sisterhood is the belief that women have collective sense of unity, purpose, and solidarity. This includes that women understand and should support each other.
