The "4B movement" is a South Korean feminist initiative advocating against traditional gender norms and societal pressures on women. "4B" stands for rejecting biyeonhons (marriage), bihaengsangs (childbirth), biryeon (relationships with men), and bisexuality as a forced societal norm. It emerged as a response to patriarchal expectations and gender inequality, empowering women to reclaim autonomy and challenge societal conventions.
